Our faculty members comprise of highly experienced designers and architects. We select only the best of the lot in current industry scenario as guest faculties. Depending on the subject, regular workshops, seminars and Industry visits are conducted in the college. Vismayam is also involved in conduct of many events annually such as the coveted ‘Visart’-a design exhibition, observing design-related days in productive manners such as Colours Day, World animation day and many more.
The minimum compulsory attendance is 80%.Any failure in achieving it will invite action as prescribed by the university.

There is no prescribed dress code for Diploma students. However, Vismayam follows a dress code for Degree level students and students are required to adhere to the same.
The course is spread over three years, further divided into Six Semesters (Six months in each Semester). University norms are followed in all related procedures.

No, there is no set age criterion for admission in some of the Interior design courses, mainly diploma level courses. However, degree level courses follow the age criterion as prescribed as the university.
We have software experts to guide you through the technical parts of Interior Design. The main softwares covered are 3DS Max,V Ray, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop. Adequate lab hours are provided to each student so that he/she gains optimum expertise by the time the course nears completion.

The subjects covered in B.Sc Interior Design equip the student with all the required knowledge and information to march confidently into mainstream field practice or into associated fields. Interior Designers have immense scope in township projects, constructions, architectural firms, material retailer firms, visualizing firms, Interior firms, designer studios etc. One can choose to be a product designer if showpiece/curios design is deemed attractive. A landscape designer can give a Midas touch the exterior surroundings of a building. Those with immense drafting talent can explore Manual Drafting; whereas if computers excite you, you can achieve big as a CAD draftsperson or a 3D Visualizer. If you want to specialize in designing a particular interior space such as only residence/kitchen/office/contemporary interior etc then you can be a team member of such firms in the design field. Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Freelancer, Educationist, Soft Furnishings Consultant, Color Consultant, Head Designer-literally, the scope is limitless.
Vismayam conducts regular classes with duration of four hours per day. Depending on whether you have morning or afternoon session, you can undertake a part-time job.
An aspiring Interior Designer should have the aptitude for designing, with a desire to learn and excel in the profession. When it comes to drawing and other skills, Vismayam will take care of you by providing requisite training at each step.
